Turnout started with a group chat. Every morning, a handful of horse owners would compare notes: what weight is your horse wearing? Did you leave the neck cover on? Is it really going to rain this afternoon?
The decision is small — but it matters. The wrong blanket means a chilly, uncomfortable, or sweaty horse. And the answer changes daily, based on weather, the horse's coat, age, condition, and what's currently hanging in the tack room.
We built Turnout because we wanted the answer waiting for us at 5:30 am — personal, considered, and correct. No spreadsheets, no scrolling through three weather apps, no second-guessing.
Our mission: to simplify horse care through practical, respectful technology — the kind that gets out of the way once it's done its job.

Turnout only collects the information required to give you accurate recommendations: your barn location, your horse's profile, and your blanket inventory. We never sell your data, and we never share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Location data is used solely to fetch hyperlocal weather forecasts. You can revoke access at any time from within the app.
